06/18/2001 If you happened to hear a reporter at an EU press conference note that none of the nations critical of Bush for dumping Kyoto have ratified it themselves, then you either watched the live event or saw reports on the Fox News Channel. ABC, CBS, and CNN kept their focus on European anger at Bush's "defiant stance". NBC did mention briefly that none of these "ticked-off" countries had ratified the treaty either, yet still spent the major portion of their story on the anger issue. "This is a case where the way the press reports it really is important. If the story ever really gets out somewhere other than Fox, that these hypocrites in Europe that are beating him (up) all the time over Kyoto, not one of them has ratified the treaty, it seems to me that the public would support him. But I don't think the word's getting through." Morton Kondracke of Roll Call, 06/14/2001 As stated by the Media Research Center's CyberAlert, President Bush is receiving "an undermining at home abetted by a lack of focus on the hypocrisy of his critics from the left abroad." How dare he, after all, base his policies on what's best for the U.S.? I would like to ask the following questions of ABC, CBS, CNN, and NBC:

We truly cannot believe the "news" as it is being reported to us. How can we possibly miss a chance like this to let the Propaganda Machine know that they are not fooling us?! ABC News
